My list of things I'd like my apartment to be.

I would like a home that...

1. welcomes me
(clean, happy cat, mentally open, few looming tasks)

2. helps me be effective
(a spot for office work, a spot for creative work - messy, a place to chill, a place to eat other than in bed with hulu)

3. welcomes others
(welcoming seating, easy to prepare, a bar, the projector, artwork, my things, easy to segment off valuables/breakables when I host couch-surfers or rent apt out for a few days)

For a style... I'd like it personal in the details, plain in the functions.
Details - artworks, things I've collected or made, bedding.
Functions - closet space, shelving - background or supports to other things of more personal value.
